Frequently Asked Questions
General Admission tickets cover one Guided Tour OR one Drive-Through Safari and access into our Petting Zoo, Caged Animals and Picnic Area! The Guided Tours take approximately an hour and will give you a unique and interactive experience with a one-of-a-kind tour guide and hundreds of animals from all over the world. They do not leave at any set time, so please arrive between 9am and 4:45pm to hop on the ride! If you choose to Drive-Through the park, expect anywhere from 1 to 2 hours to get through the park. You can visit the Petting Zoo animals before and after your ride at your own leisure!
If you have any questions at all, please give us a call at (830)868-4357 and we would love to help. However, below, you will find a list of our most frequently asked questions.

When can we use our tickets?
Your tickets are good for anytime between 9am and 5pm on the day you purchased. Unless you booked a Private Guided Tour, which leave at certain times. If you need to reschedule or cancel your tickets, please refer to our cancellation policy below.
Is there a price difference between the Guided Tour and just driving through the park in my own car?
Nope! Our general admission covers either option! However, we strongly encourage our Guided Tours for a more unique experience. There is, however, a $200 upcharge to make your Guided Tour completely private! Our regular Guided Tours can hold about 35 people, so if you want something more one-on-one, check out our Private Guided Tour option!
I am immuno-compromised, and nervous about being in a large group of people. How can I still enjoy the Exotic Zoo Resort’s Safari?
We are allowing a limited number of guests to Drive-Through the park in their own vehicle. Our Guided Tours are on a tight schedule, so we can only allow a few Drive-Through visitors a day to keep things moving timely. If this is your concern, please call us at (830)868-4357 to make arrangements!
What is the cost?
Visit our Daily Tours & Pricing page for tour prices and other details!
What kind of wait times can we expect upon visiting the Exotic Resort Zoo?

We have no wait-times in mind when it comes to checking-in and getting through the park. Please keep in mind that weekends and holidays are our busiest, so you can expect a lengthier visit. We are doing our best to keep everyone moving in a timely fashion, so please bring patience with you when you visit!
Is the Exotic Resort Zoo dog friendly?
You may bring your pup along for either experience, however, we do not necessarily recommend it. Our animals view dogs as a natural predator, so they might not be as keen to get up close and personal with you and your experience may not be the best!
